Uvi is a startup that has raised funding to address a costly problem with AI agents in businesses. Each time a company deploys a new AI agent, the agent must learn the company's operations, business processes, and decision-making context from scratch, which consumes significant computing resources and costs. Uvi developed a "context reasoning layer" that functions as a shared institutional memory for all AI agents within a company, built on a knowledge graph that maps connections across fragmented enterprise systems like Slack, Jira, and Salesforce. According to the company's benchmarks, this approach reduces the cost per agent response from between 75 cents and $2.41 down to 10 to 16 cents on average, while also speeding up responses and eliminating the need for agents to repeatedly relearn the same business context.
