How we research and fact-check

Agent5 is built on a simple idea: AI is good at drafting and explaining, and bad at being trusted blindly. So we are upfront about how our content is made, and we give you the sources to check us.

Our articles and lessons are AI-generated.

The blog explainers and the “Get smart on it” lessons attached to news stories are written with AI, then shaped by our editorial process. We tell you this plainly rather than dressing it up as something it isn't.

Everything is grounded in primary sources.

Each piece is built from the original reporting, papers, and announcements it discusses, and we link those sources so you can always go straight to what we are summarizing. The source link is your accountability check, not just a citation.

We run checks before publishing.

Articles pass through an automated review step during generation, and we spot-check pieces before they go live. This is a lightweight quality process, not a guarantee of perfection, and we would rather be honest about that than claim more than we do.

When the AI is wrong, the source is the authority.

AI can state something confidently and still be off. That is exactly why we link primary sources and treat them, not the AI, as the final word. If you ever spot something that does not match its source, tell us and we will fix it.

We would rather earn your trust with transparency than ask for it with claims we cannot back up.
