Slack is launching dedicated channels called Slack Code where teams can collaborate with AI agents on coding tasks without switching between different tools. Users can tag in AI coding agents, who then create a channel where the team has full visibility of the work, can review code changes, preview output, and approve the work before it ships. The channels automatically archive themselves when complete and provide audit logs for recordkeeping. Slack Code is available across all Slack plans and integrates with AI agents from partners including Claude, Devin, Vercel Agent, and GitHub Copilot.
