Samsung Electronics is making ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex available to employees in Korea and across its Device eXperience division worldwide, marking one of OpenAI's largest enterprise deployments to date. The company plans to use these AI tools across multiple business functions including software development, marketing, manufacturing, and corporate operations to enhance employee productivity. ChatGPT Enterprise provides security features like data protection and access controls that allow the tools to be used within the company's existing security policies. This deployment represents an expansion of the existing relationship between the two companies, which previously collaborated on AI infrastructure, to now include workforce transformation and company-wide AI adoption.
