The platform resolves more than 80% of customer requests through AI agents and has consumed 1 trillion OpenAI tokens, indicating significant scale. OpenAI's latest models, particularly GPT-6 Astra, ranked first in Retell's benchmark for instruction-following and help keep calls responsive during peak demand. Retell's engineers also use OpenAI's Codex tool to research code, build features, and debug issues more efficiently, contributing to the company achieving $1.6 million in annual revenue per employee despite rapid business growth.
