Instagram's head stated that the platform will not filter out AI-generated content from users' feeds, but instead will label content to indicate whether it is AI-generated. He believes users who dislike AI content should simply not see it in their feeds, while those who enjoy it should be able to have feeds composed entirely of AI content. The platform acknowledges that detecting AI content is difficult and may become harder as AI models improve, and suggested it might be more practical to label non-AI content instead.
