Samsung has unveiled smart glasses developed with Google and eyewear brands, featuring a camera and AI capabilities powered by the same chip used in competing products. The glasses come in four design options and offer battery life lasting up to nine hours on a single charge, longer than comparable products. Like other smart glasses on the market, they include a recording LED that prevents video capture if blocked, though this privacy measure has not prevented similar products from facing criticism. The glasses will support AI features including message summaries, live translation, and navigation guidance through either Google's or Samsung's AI assistant.
