Halliday has released a second generation of smart glasses designed primarily as a tool for work meetings. The new model replaces the original version's problematic tiny display window with waveguides that provide a larger dual-lens screen, monochrome green displays, and improved visibility, while removing cameras to prioritize privacy and battery life. The glasses include AI features like Meeting Flow, Thread Tracker, Decision Confirmation, and Commitment Check to help users track conversation context, decisions made, and action items during meetings, along with transcripts and summaries. The Gen 2 is priced at $599 before prescription lens costs and is available for preorder with an expected September delivery.
