Deezer adds toggle to filter AI-generated music

TechCrunch: Deezer will soon let you filter out AI-generated music

Deezer said that the new toggle will be rolled out by the end of the year.

Get smart on it

Deezer is developing a toggle feature that will let users filter out AI-generated music from their streaming experience, expected to launch before year's end. The feature will remove AI-generated tracks, albums, and related artists from search results. A survey showed approximately 45% of Deezer customers wanted the ability to remove AI music from their feeds, and the company noted that more than 50% of daily uploads to its platform are now AI-generated tracks. Other streaming services have taken different approaches, with some banning AI music entirely, others cutting monetization for AI uploads, and some simply tagging AI content more prominently.
