Hugging Face: Announcing SimReady Central: An Open Library of Simulation-Ready 3D Assets for Robotics and AI Factories
Robotics teams can now access pre-built digital environments faster, reducing development time for training and testing autonomous systems.
SimReady Central is an open library of more than 2,000 three-dimensional assets prepared with properties required for simulation workflows, such as collision geometry, mass, and friction. The library matters because it reduces manual work for developers building robotics simulations and artificial intelligence factory digital twins by providing ready-made assets that can be combined into simulated environments. Equipment manufacturers can prepare their products as SimReady assets to make them discoverable to developers, while developers can search the library to find assets matching their specific simulation needs and compose them into scenes for training and evaluation.

Google kicked off 2026 with the addition of Personal Intelligence to Gemini, allowing its AI to pull in more of your data to formulate answers. It started as a paid feature but eventually came to all Gemini users. However, this feature wasn't available in the car until now. Google is rolling out Personal Intelligence to Android Auto and Google Built-in, and it is still, thankfully, an optional feature. As Google points out, a generative AI's outputs are better "when it knows the world and knows
