Amazon updates Alexa to help you manage shopping lists, subscriptions, and update delivery instructions

The update allows you to use Alexa to create lists, register them, see what's on them, and add or edit items. You can also manage subscriptions with the AI bot.

Get smart on it

Amazon has added more than 100 new shopping-related capabilities to its voice assistant, including the ability to create and manage shopping lists, handle subscription changes, update delivery instructions, and answer questions about billing and subscription accounts. The update allows users to perform tasks like adjusting delivery frequency for subscriptions or modifying delivery addresses through voice commands. This expansion comes ahead of the holiday season and reflects Amazon's broader investment in AI-powered shopping features, with the company reporting that usage of such features has grown significantly over the past year.
