The product addresses two specific robotics challenges: providing reliable power supply to compact robots that perform tasks like screwing and assembly, and preventing hoses from colliding with tools on the fifth axis of palletizing robots. The self-supporting chain requires only two connection points for installation and allows cables to follow full rotations safely without needing guide troughs or complicated alignment. Key features include openings at the inner radius for easy cable insertion, removable shelves for cable separation, and adjustable pretension that can be tuned to cable weight and rotation angle.
