CreateMe partners with Avalo and Laguna Fabrics to bring resilience to apparel supply chains

CreateMe Technologies announced partnerships to introduce an integrated apparel manufacturing system that connects climate-smart cotton cultivation, domestic textile manufacturing, and robotic garment assembly through AI assistance. The initiative addresses how the apparel industry has historically operated through fragmented systems across agriculture, textile manufacturing, and garment production, with decades of offshoring that lengthened lead times, reduced supply chain visibility, and increased emissions. The pilot program will begin with climate-smart cotton innovation in Texas, move to fabric production in California, and conclude with automated garment assembly using robotic systems. This approach aims to demonstrate how apparel can be produced faster, more locally, and with greater supply chain resilience compared to traditional fragmented manufacturing models.
