Will Bear Robotics complete its acquisition of Kinisi Robotics by August 31, 2026?
Resolves by Aug 31, 2026
Bear Robotics has acquired Kinisi Robotics, integrating Kinisi's humanoid robot, engineering team, and manipulation AI capabilities into Bear's existing robotics platform. Bear already operates a large commercial fleet of service robots deployed worldwide, and Kinisi's technology adds the ability for these robots to handle and manipulate physical objects rather than just navigate and deliver. The acquisition combines Bear's deployed fleet, manufacturing, and real-world data with Kinisi's proprietary AI models and manipulation expertise, allowing both companies to train AI faster together than either could separately. Kinisi's Bristol engineering hub will continue operating as a strategic center for Bear, with Kinisi's founder joining Bear's leadership team.
