IDS Imaging has added a new industrial time-of-flight, or ToF, camera called Nion to its 3D sensor portfolio. The camera features 1.2-megapixel resolution and integrated depth processing, operating at 30 fps while maintaining stable depth information during rapid movements and changing lighting conditions. Nion is designed for applications requiring precise 3D data at real-world process speeds, such as logistics, automation, and robotics, and includes features like a rugged IP67-rated housing, Power over Ethernet connectivity, and a measurement range suitable for typical industrial scenarios.
