Apple will launch Apple Intelligence in China with iOS 27.3, the company announced on its Chinese newsroom website, as reported by MacRumors. Apple is bringing some of its artificial intelligence features to China through an iOS beta launching in November, with a full release scheduled for December. The initial rollout will include notification summaries, real-time translation, rewriting and proofreading tools, visual intelligence, and photo editing capabilities, though it will not include the new AI-powered Siri. Apple has partnered with a Chinese company to integrate a local chatbot into the experience, similar to how it integrated an AI chatbot in other markets in 2024. This launch comes after Apple's AI tools were approved for use in China in July and follows reports that Apple trained its own language model specifically for the Chinese market.
