Mistral AI: Voxtral 3
Voxtral 3: Mistral's voice agent SDK for real-time speech in 50+ languages — accurate transcription, emotional TTS, deep tool use. EU-hosted or self-deployed.
Voxtral 3 is a voice agent system that combines speech recognition, reasoning, and speech generation capabilities to handle multi-step conversations in over 50 languages. The system addresses the challenge of building reliable voice agents that must simultaneously listen accurately, understand context, speak naturally with appropriate emotion, and take actions through connected business systems. Voxtral 3 includes a speech-to-text model that identifies who is speaking and uses key terms to improve accuracy, a text-to-speech model with voices that adapt emotion and pace based on conversation context, and an SDK that integrates these components into real-time interactions. Organizations can use the system through a hosted API or deploy it on their own infrastructure to maintain control over where audio is processed and whether conversations are retained.
