MarkTechPost: Nanbeige Releases Nanbeige4.3-33B, a 33B Open Agentic Coding Model
Nanbeige LLM Lab has released Nanbeige4.3-33B on Hugging Face under the Apache 2.0 license. Nanbeige4.3-33B is a 33B dense language model built for agentic coding and office-style ‘cowork’ tasks. The lab sits inside the recruitment platform BOSS Zhipin. It also published Nanbeige4.3-33B-Base for custom post-training. The model supports a 524,288-token context window. In the lab’s own table, it leads 17 of 20 benchmarks against 3 open models near 30B. TL;DR Size: 33B par
A new open-source language model has been released that is designed specifically for agentic coding and office tasks. The model contains 33 billion parameters, supports a very large context window of over 500,000 tokens, and is distributed under an open license. In comparisons against similar-sized competing models, it leads on most tested benchmarks, though some of the reported competitor figures differ from what those companies published on their own model cards. The model is intended as a "teacher" for a planned smaller version, with the strategy to distill its capabilities into models of different sizes.

Moonshot AI has just released Kimi K3.1 Pro, the first model in its K3.1 series. Kimi K3.1 Pro is a 3T-class open-weight* model with a 1-million-token context window. Moonshot team positions it against the strongest proprietary models on coding, agentic and knowledge benchmarks. For developers, it is cheaper API pricing than K3 and open weights yet not available. *open weights are expected to release in November 2026. TL;DR Size: 2.8T total, 104B active parameters (MoE), 1M-token context

Hugging Face has released Carbon-X, an open DNA language model with 14.8B parameters. Carbon-X is a decoder-only model from Hugging Face Bio. It reads raw DNA in a chat and answers in English. It predicts whether mutations are benign or pathogenic, flags regulatory regions, classifies organisms and predicts next bases. The weights ship under Apache 2.0, so labs can keep sensitive sequences on their own GPUs. Hugging Face built it with Zhongguancun Academy and TIGEM / University of Naples Federi

Jack Dorsey's Block announced an AI model called Dessa that's trained "from scratch on nothing but human conversation," and to show off the model, Block shared chats it has had with humans that can occasionally be a little awkward and uncanny. Take this one, for example, shared by Dessa lead Ragavan Thurairatnam. The conversation between the model and the speaker does have a mostly natural back and forth (though for some reason, the model initially mistakes the speaker for some

Ai2, the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence, today released a satellite map embedding model called OlmoEarth v1.3 and precomputed annual embeddings for the whole planet at various resolutions with a browser-based map-making tool. The model compresses a year of satellite observations into a numerical fingerprint for each 10-by-10-meter patch of ground at the smallest resolution, […] The post Ai2 releases OlmoEarth v1.3 state-of-the-art AI-ready satellite embeddings for the whole pl
