TechCrunch: Tenstorrent hits $6.2B valuation to scale open-weight AI chips

The new capital will fund scaling of chips designed for serving open-weight AI models and video generation. Tenstorrent is one of several AI hardware startups attempting to compete with Nvidia's market dominance.
