OpenRouter's CEO recently described the startup as Stripe for AI.
Stripe has agreed to acquire OpenRouter, an AI gateway startup, for more than $7 billion according to Bloomberg. OpenRouter allows customers to access different AI models and select which ones to use based on their specific needs and budget, functioning as a single access point that prevents being locked into one system. The startup raised $113 million in funding at a $1.3 billion valuation in May and serves 8 million global users with access to more than 400 models. This acquisition represents a significant increase in OpenRouter's valuation in just a few months.

OpenAI and CodeAI are partnering to help students build AI literacy, think critically about AI, and develop the skills to use and shape it responsibly.

"We have some really ambitious plans to help you work with AI in Chrome to get things done, and I’ll have more to share soon," Jacob Bank, Relay founder and CEO, said.

The model maker added $18 billion in annualized revenue in two months.
