
The AI lab Midjourney continues to expand its purview beyond image and video generation.
Midjourney, an AI lab known for image and video generators, has acquired Co-Star, a social astrology app with about 4.3 million monthly active users. Co-Star uses both AI and humans to generate horoscopes, compatibility assessments, and astrological advice that users can share with friends on the app. The acquisition adds to Midjourney's expanding product lineup, which already includes efforts in medical and spa services, and brings Co-Star's team of two dozen employees into the company. The deal terms were not disclosed.
