HiddenLayer, a startup that makes tools to protect AI models and systems from attacks and malicious code, has raised $100 million in funding. The company's revenue has grown more than 10 times over the past year as enterprises increasingly worry about securing their AI deployments in production. Market research estimates that companies will spend $2.83 billion this year on AI security products, up 83 percent from the previous year, reflecting growing concern about risks like agents going haywire during operation and malicious tool use. HiddenLayer plans to use the funding to expand its sales and distribution efforts while continuing to build products that address emerging threats like prompt injection and agent manipulation.

The round came together after the data center developer reportedly secured a $13 billion contract with Jane Street.
