Siggy is a mental health startup that raised $6 million in pre-seed funding to build a service combining AI conversations with licensed clinicians to treat patients. The company addresses a gap in mental healthcare where therapists and medication prescribers often work separately, leaving limited time to discuss symptom changes or medication side effects. Siggy uses AI to collect patient histories, facilitate daily check-ins about sleep and mood, and integrate wearable device data to create a health score that clinicians can review between appointments. The startup was founded by Jonathan Sabbagh, who previously co-founded Journey Clinical, and Edvard Engesæth, who previously co-founded Nurx, both companies focused on providing healthcare services outside traditional doctor's offices.
