Emmi joins Mistral to accelerate the AI-native industry

Mistral AI has agreed to acquire Emmi AI, a company specializing in Physics AI for industrial engineering. The acquisition aims to strengthen Mistral's capabilities in building AI systems that understand physics and can work with engineering tools, positioning the company as a partner for manufacturers in sectors like aerospace, automotive, and semiconductors. Emmi AI's team of over 30 researchers and engineers will join Mistral's Science and Applied AI teams, bringing expertise in creating large engineering models that can accelerate engineering workflows, replace lengthy computations with real-time simulations, and build digital twins for asset optimization.
