Whisker’s AI-powered litter robot thinks my cats swapped bodies

A high-end robotic litter box with artificial intelligence and dual cameras promises to monitor cats' health and identify which cat is using the box through facial recognition. The device costs significantly more than lower-end models due to these AI features, but the reviewer found that the facial recognition system failed to distinguish between two cats that look very different, eventually confusing them as identical. The AI's waste identification system also repeatedly failed to accurately categorize waste, and the promised health insights from the subscription service provided no useful information. As a basic litter-scooping machine, the device works well, but the premium price for AI features is not justified by their actual performance.
