Oumi Frontier AI Engineer now builds and retrains agents

SiliconANGLE: Oumi’s Frontier AI Engineer now builds AI agents and retrains the models behind them

Enterprise artificial intelligence platform company Oumi PBC today extended its Frontier AI Engineer agent so it can build AI agents for customers and retrain the models those agents run on. The release goes after a problem that tends to surface once agents leave the demo stage. A failing agent might have a bad prompt, a […] The post Oumi’s Frontier AI Engineer now builds AI agents and retrains the models behind them appeared first on SiliconANGLE.

Get smart on it

An enterprise AI platform company has updated its Frontier AI Engineer tool to build AI agents and retrain the underlying models that power them. Previously, when AI agents failed in real-world use, companies could only fix them through prompt and tool adjustments because retraining model weights required specialized skills typically found at frontier AI labs. The update allows teams to describe what they want an agent to accomplish in plain language, then automatically set up the tools and environments needed while turning production failures into training data for model improvement. The company argues that while better prompts and larger generic models help, truly reliable agents require training customized models on the specific tasks and environments where they work.
