SiliconANGLE: Motive brings agentic AI to physical operations with agents that act before problems escalate

Motive Inc., the San Francisco-based artificial intelligence platform provider for physical operations, today announced the launch of Agents, a new capability that automatically responds to safety, maintenance and operational issues before they escalate into accidents, costly breakdowns or business disruptions. Get smart on it

Motive, an artificial intelligence platform provider for physical operations, has launched Agents, a capability that automatically responds to safety, maintenance and operational issues in transportation, logistics and construction industries before they escalate into accidents or costly problems. Rather than simply generating alerts that require manual coordination, Agents use operational data already collected through Motive's platform to contact drivers, create maintenance work orders and coordinate responses automatically across fleet operations. The shift from alerts to automated action addresses a major challenge in physical industries: organizations collect enormous amounts of operational data through sensors and monitoring devices but lack the speed to convert that information into actual responses. The broader significance is that agentic AI could compress the coordination layer between detecting problems and taking action, potentially allowing companies to improve operations without proportionally increasing administrative staff.
