Meta's personal AI agent Muse is a software tool designed to handle everyday tasks by connecting to users' apps and services including email and calendars. The company announced multiple new capabilities at its recent Connect event, including a digital avatar for real-time video conversations, integration with Meta smart glasses, the ability to operate desktop applications on Mac computers, and partnerships with major retailers and payment services like Stripe, Shopify, PayPal, Best Buy, and Walmart. Meta plans to offer Muse free initially while expecting to eventually profit by taking a small fee from transactions.
