Cult.fit builds operational muscle with Codex

Cult.fit is using Codex to help teams across functions build tools, move faster, and change how work gets done.

Get smart on it

A fitness company is using Codex, an AI tool from OpenAI, to help employees across different departments build software applications and automate work tasks. Previously, the company relied on a mix of different coding tools and had data analysis bottlenecks where only specialized teams could handle requests, but standardizing on Codex has allowed non-engineers in departments like HR to create their own applications and perform their own data analysis. The shift has produced concrete results: more than 20 internal applications built by non-engineering teams, over $100,000 in annual software savings, and a 50 percent reduction in customer support costs through AI-assisted workflows. The company is also using OpenAI's API to improve its member-facing AI Trainer product, which provides personalized workout guidance through voice interaction.
