Cities deploy NVIDIA physical and agentic AI

NVIDIA Blog: Cities Worldwide Build and Scale AI Services With NVIDIA Physical and Agentic AI

Cities generate enormous amounts of data from cameras, sensors and operational systems, but turning it into useful action — for planning, maintenance and public services — remains a challenge. Physical and agentic AI offer new ways to close that gap, from digital twins for infrastructure planning to vision and service agents, while keeping local governments in control of how sensitive data is processed and used. Building on initiatives announced at GTC Berlin, NVIDIA and its partners are expandi

Get smart on it

Cities worldwide are using NVIDIA's physical and agentic AI technologies to turn data from cameras, sensors, and operational systems into useful applications for infrastructure planning, transportation, and public services. Agentic AI allows cities to deploy faster, more responsive services like resident chatbots and vision agents that identify mobility and safety issues, while digital twins enable cities to simulate infrastructure planning scenarios and operational decisions. The approach allows cities to build on shared computing infrastructure rather than each organization having to acquire and manage its own resources, and examples include applications for traffic management, emergency response coordination, and environmental impact assessment across cities in Spain, Poland, Malaysia, Nigeria, Taiwan, and Morocco.

OpenAI's upcoming chat-and-work merger in ChatGPT signals the end of all-you-can-prompt pricing

OpenAI combines the Chat and Work modes into a single interface. Starting in December, Plus, Pro, and Business plans will share a common, token-based quota for ChatGPT and Codex. OpenAI says ChatGPT is catching up to Google in search

In many circles, "Ask Chat" has replaced "Google it," and that's reflected in a new announcement from OpenAI: the volume of search queries run through ChatGPT now equals 20 percent of the volume run through Google. Adam Fry, OpenAI's consumer product lead for ChatGPT, made the announcement at a press event on Monday. He said the company defines a search as any time a user inputs a query that results in a web search, as opposed to tasks like defining a term or a simple how-to ex
